Grounded Drops started in a garage.
Back in 2014, it was just a passion for great coffee and a small roaster at home. What began as a hobby got out of hand fast — I was working construction, taking my home-roasted coffee to site in a thermos, and before long the whole crew wanted a cup. Their reactions said everything: this was too good to keep to myself.
Then, on a trip to Japan in 2018, it all clicked. We discovered drip coffee bags — a brilliantly simple way to get genuinely great coffee anywhere, with no machine and no fuss. That was the lightbulb moment: take the coffee we'd spent years perfecting and make it that easy for everyone, everywhere.
So we built the thing we wished existed. Every Grounded Drops bag holds a generous pour of premium, freshly air-roasted coffee — just hang it on your mug, pour, and let gourmet coffee drip straight into your cup.
